I've been an Advanced (Level 3) Personal Trainer since 2007. I specialize in resistance training for body composition and strength. I have extensive experience with natural bodybuilding, weightlifting, and strength training. A former member of the US All-Round Weightlifting Association, I have also completed the Poliquin International Certification Program Level 1 Theory Course (Charles Poliquin, Strength Sensei).
Exercise technique is my obsession, particularly when it comes to key movements, such as the deadlift and squat. Whether you are new to exercise or experienced, I will take the time to observe, evaluate, and fine-tune your form so that each exercise is efficient, safe, and optimally effective. I make use of periodized programs that ensure you adapt to the technical aspects and physical stresses of a workout routine before you progress to the next phase. I also offer nutritional advice to help you achieve your goals.
I am passionate about the history of Physical Culture from the Victorian era to the present day, so if you've ever wanted to learn how to perform the bent press, don't be afraid to ask (and I won't insist upon leopard-skin trunks).
