Qualification Overview
The Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Nutrition for Physical Activity (RQF) aims to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to confidently offer nutritional advice to clients within the fitness sector. This qualification will enable learners to analyse their clients’ nutritional habits and learn how to set realistic goals to help improve weight management and encourage healthy eating.
Qualification Structure
Learners must achieve the following mandatory units to achieve a total of 6 credits.
Learner Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification; however, it is recommended that learners hold the Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (or equivalent).
Progression Routes
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:
- Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Planning and Delivering Personal Training (RQF)
- Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Practitioner in Personal Training (RQF)
Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be a minimum of 16 years old to undertake the qualification.
